Hi, i,m not sure if it's the clutch that smells and therefore gone or what.
When I raise the clutch to engage the drive shft a rubbing noise happens.
The brake pad smell is there from just the engine running.
The biting point does feel at a good point when lifting the peddle as if the clutch isn't gone.
Any ideas anyone?

You can get a smell a little like burning brake/clutch linings from the engine breather system. Check that all the hoses are on and not split.

in my opinion clutches dont smell when worn, could be the release bearing "not releasing" if its drivable its not the friction disc... could be a dodgy cable
