Having fixed top core plugs to get rid of leak, I now have a misfire with engine management
flashing as the engine is asked to accelerate. Plugs were replaced in January, leads and coil pack replaced this week, still got problem any thoughts.

A code read is the best way to narrow it down.

What is a code read, the garage who are diagnosing says that there is no error message when the car is hooked up to engine analyser
|
If the MIL is flashing; then it's detecting a misfire and should be storing a suitable code identifying the misfiring cylinder[s].
Had the coilpack failed? They can often back-spike the ECU coil drivers - scoping the two primary signals usually shows a disparity.

Many thanks. new set of plugs fixed the mis-fire, although they were originally changed in January, think the water from core plugs had damaged these.
