it said on the news report on tv, that you leave it connected to your car overnight, and a full tank gives you enough range for 25 miles, - hardly seems worth it! plus how many garages will get blown up because of either leaks or ill fitting pipe-car connections when somebody turns on the light, or starts the engine.
will it ever catch on? me doubts it!

Depends on the size of the tank and what pressure it is. Can't be much produced if it is only 25 miles. The water powered car method of ultrasonics to create hydrogen takes about a minute to produce enough to start the car. It will then keep going as long as you want. If his device only uses a small amount of power then it is efficient. If on the other hand it is like leaving a 3kw fan heater on over night then it is a colossal waste of time.

I love the bit about electrolysing the water to produce the stuff - and then using it to run a generator to produce electricity....
So if you've got the electricity in the first place.....
Seriously though; that isn't as far-fetched an idea for a substitute marginal car fuel as most of them - although you'd need a tractor-style vertical exhaust for the colder months or following it would make Silverstone in the rain look like a clear day.
If you've got your own wind generator on a Scottish island, with diesel at £1.69; that is a viable prospect even now as a practical use for your surplus overnight power.
