MP3 player - saying full but its not? - FotheringtonThomas
The maximum number of files allowed has been exceeded, possibly. Try deleting a couple, and trying to add one then.

On the iPod Shuffle there is a setting to have a certain amount of space allocated for data storage - in other words, to use it as a pen drive.

Is it possible that this unit has the same, and it has somehow got a silly amount set for this use?

Another option is to format the MP3 player and put all the music back on again. This may open up the rest of the space.

Hope it works out!

In answer to BobbyG's question in the last volume:

I have had the same issue with a couple of MP3 players. The players will only allow a certain number of tracks PER FOLDER.

So, you need to create a new folder on the player and add songs to the new folder.

Cheers for the answers, I will try that when I get home.

No problem, it had me stumped for quite a while when it happened to me.
