We have just had a tow bar fitted via a reputable trailer centre on our Ford Smax. Since then we are having problems with our central locking not working when parked on our drive, strangely it works when we drive away from the house! We phoned the trailer centre who said they do not touch the central ocking part of the electrics. Could this be a coincidence or does anyone think the fittin gof the tow bar has caused a problem. They have fitted a relay on the electrics as you can hear it clicking at the back of the vehicle when the indicators or brakes are touched. Thanks!
