Has anyone experience of or does anyone know whether a camera van parked alongside a 2 lanes in each direction/central reservation dual carriageway trunk road (not on the central reservation) can legally carry out enforcement on traffic travelling in the opposing lanes (in other words across 2 lanes and the central reservation)
I ask as I have read cameras can be used multi directional but not on motorways and dual carriageways - each direction being a seperate site - although it may be that if the road has junctions this may affect the issue.

They can enforce from whatever side they like. BUT the angle of track has to be fairly minimal and unobstructed. Dont know what the maximum permitted angle is at this time.
