Hi All,

I need some help regarding this problem i have. I have seen the previous post about the same problem and it turned out to be the Ignition Amplifier i beleive. I had the same problem on friday and i took it to the garage who instantly thought it was the Ignition coil and ordered a new one. He replaced the part today but it had no effect. I beleive he tried replacing the whole thing, coil and amplifier as i beleive it is one unit (i could be wrong). He said it could possibly be the wiring to the cylinder (funnily enough also the 3rd cylinder).

Im just wondering if anyone has any thought before i take it to another garage tomorrow. I read some things about fuel injectors and ECU's. If the amplifier isnt the problem what is it likely to be?

As you will have seen from the previous post, the exact year and engine code is vital as there are differences in the way the coils are fired.
