1995 diesel - Need a spare Immobiliser deactivator - Leo the Lion
Hi,

I've recently purchased a Peugeot 106 Diesel (year of 1995). It has a Peugeot immobiliser fitted that is deactivated via a small button (similar to a watch battery) being pushed against a pad beside the ignition switch. Unfortunately I only have one of these buttons and would like to get another just in case the one I have is lost or damaged. I spoke to someone today about removing the device, but they thought it would be too difficult.

Has anyone had any experiences of such a Peugeot immobiliser?

Thanks

Paul

That's not a Pug immobiliser, it's an aftermarket one - if it had a factory fit immob it would most likely to be a key pad. Unless a keypad has been removed, and the AM one fitted in its place, then it's unlikely to be that complex to remove if required.

Thanks for the information. Funny thing is that the deactivator button is fitted to a peugeot key fob. I will have to get an auto electrician to look at it.
