revving when braking coming to a stop. - bevh999
Hi. My car's revs go mad when brake when coming to a stop. Can anyone give me any tips? My boyfriend says its the way i drive, but i've had the car 4 years and it has only recently started doing it.

Very common problem caused by the ECU not realizing that the throttle is shut.

There are several possible reasons why it isn't getting the signal; they're explained in detail on some of the Fiesta/Ka idling threads in "Search."
