2000 1.6 - Fuel Pump fuse - Tim Dog
I am trying to diagnose a missfire fault and I want to disable the fuel pump. Please can some one tell the exact location of the fuel pump fuse?

Try fuse 6 in the Maxi fuse box in the engine bay if it's the X16XEL engine and the single fuse in the 8-relay box if it's a Z16XE/Z16YNG.

There are a choice of five different fuseboxes on that engine size and year alone. Details matter.

Thanks Screwloose,

It was fuse 6 in the Maxi fuse box. After checking the sparks and doing a compression test I concluded that the misfire was caused by a faulty coil pack. I swapped the coil pack for a new one and the misfire was cured.
