Translated means the driver of the offending vehicle has been reported to the appropriate authority ! you didnt have to grass him up, whats wrong with a quite word with the chap or even a bit of advice about his car? doesnt cost anything to help someone does it?

He's a nuisance around here, this is the least of his motoring problems, I know him, I have dealt with him, you can't communicate with him. I know I've tried.

don't think there are any any more.........old lady across the road reported me to the council for having a wild and out of control bonfire in the back garden a few years back. When she knocked on my door, she also berated me for having a real coal/wood fire on occasions. Was visited by two people from the council who gave me an advice leaflet, which was most interesting as it proved to me i'd committed no offences whatsoever and that i was allowed to have the bonfire and the real fire (i'd always presumed I was only supposed to burn Coalite, not the real coal or logs I did in fact use). Apparently the pollution legislation was dropped years ago.
Took great pleasure in marching over the road to give the 'dear old lady' a copy of the leaflet.

interesting site....apparently i'm in the only London Borough that may have zones that are smoke free, as opposed to all the others that are shown as definite smoke free zones...wonder why?
don't want to dig too deep, as i've got rather a good store of logs
