Sky are saying that precedent for this type infringement may mean that Constructors lose points but Drivers keep theirs.
If so, then Lewis does not gain anything!

I can't see the three cars being disqualified if it is just a matter of chilling the fuel, but if that is the case how can they tell? Presumably the fuel would have to be chilled before it went in the tank and would not leave any evidence afterwards. If they have chilled it first it brings to mind a similar scam in professional cycling where ice-cubes were dropped into the frames of bicycles to bring them up to the minimum weight limit for pre-race scrutineering, and a hole drilled in the bottom so that the water drained out as the ice melted

The article mentions a significant power improvement (although I wouldn't have thought 5-10hp would be that noticeable out of 7-800). I'd assumed that the advantage would be volumetric, as a cold litre is slightly more fuel than a warm one. If it increases power as well, they're on to a good thing!
