I think my clutch is slipping as I go up steep hills. Is there an easy way to test for this, please?
I seem to remember something about trying to move off in a certain gear and seeing if the call stalls. Thanks.

Select a high gear at a slow speed and plant the throttle. If the clutch is slipping the revs will increase with very little speed increase.

alternatively, park, keep the handbrake on tightly, select first and slowly bring up the clutch. At the bite point the revs should begin to dip and the engine begins to struggle - take it to extremes and it'll stall. If it doesn't the clutch is slipping.
