Road tolls in the Peak District have been mooted for traffic passing through, for some years.
I recently have noted that there appears to be some large rectangular marks on all the roads near the park's boundaries. Some of them are highlighted with crack testing (?) green dye.
I fear these are the automatic sensors needed for the tolling.
Does anyone know if this scheme is being pushed ahead or am I just paranoid?
