Running a cable from engine bay to inside cabin - allan doc
I am trying to run a cable from the engine bay to inside the car. I dont want to drill any holes and can't see and rubber grommets to run the cable through. Anyone any ideas? Its a 1992 Honda Prelude.

Well, if there aren't any existing holes, and you don't want to make a new one, you're stuck!
It will have to be wireless transmission, or mount the display on the outside of the windscreen, or jam the wires in the door seal.

What is wrong with drilling a hole and fitting a grommit or is it a lease car,I have never in my life seen a car that does not have cables or rods going from the inside of the cabin to the outside, look closer.

Dont waste your time. By the time the laser detector has alerted you, you are already nicked. sell it back on e-bay. The only ones that work are the laser blinders.
