The companies - not the cars
Ford has given Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and HSBC a mandate to sell Jaguar and Land Rover, its two British luxury brands.
The planned sale does not include Volvo, Ford?s third premium marque, and is said to be in its early stages.

A while back JCB expressed some casual interest in acquiring Jaguar. Maybe they can dig them out of trouble :-)

the most recent Autocar i read, dated 8th June, reckoned Volvo was up for grabs to BMW.......
personally i think Ford would be daft to sell any of them.....Volvo and Land rover are making a decent profit and Jag is getting there. Premier Automotive Group as a whole makes a profit, so why sell?
If they were to cut the one out of PAG that isn't currently making a profit i.e. Jag, then the whole of Ford hasn't really got a prestige car element left.
Maybe their big mortgage means the bean counters have taken over
