Here's another one from the US - "Car carrying several armed men gets into a wreck while speeding at 91MPH; passenger injured due to not wearing a seat belt in violation of the law". Ordinarily you'd expect some citations to be issued -- but the passenger in question was multimillionaire liberal Jon Corzine, NJ Governor, so that's all right.
And multibillionaire liberal wannabe presidential candidate and NYC mayor Michael Bloomberg has been causing controversy by trying to nail legitimate out of state gun dealers for minor documentation infractions in 'sting' operations. Of course because he has a dozen heavily armed NYC Police officers as his personal security detail he doesn't need to worry too much about his personal safety.. .that and the fact he travels everywhere in a helicopter!
Better stop here-- if we start talking about politicians' hypocrisy, we'd need a whole other back room!

Not to mention the right to bear arms in the US, and the absence of that right here to protect ourselves from crazed millionaires and other armed elements (no names, no packdrill).
