ive recently changed my discs and pads and now 500 miles later there is a intermittent grinding noise at low speed when pressure is applied. as i say this is not happening every time i use the brakes and i did use copper grease. any help please? vehicle is a kangoo van 04 model {Now added to the subject header}

Did you make certain that when you changed the discs that they seated prefectly and there was no rust or dirt to make them out of true?

Possibly a stone or other foreign object got thrown up in there. Try reversing, and braking to see if that'll throw it out, although in my experience they usually get stuck between the dust/water shield and the disc. If not it looks like you'll have to dismantle them again.

everything was cleaned/degreased and the discs were seated correctly. had a look at them today and on the drivers side about 10mm from the outer edge there is very light scoring. took pads out on both sides and checked for stones ( nothing)and replaced .i really cant see where anything could be causing the grinding noise. pads and discs were delphi by the way
