My car is constantly chucking out a cloud of dark grey/black smoke from the exhaust. The fuel and air filters have been changed recently and it doesn't use oil or water so I assume this is due to overfuelling???
Any ideas as to how I could adjust this myself????

In my experience with great difficulty, I ended up taking ours to a local garage who do a lot with diesels, they had to have the fuel pump checked out elsewhere. Having said that they did sort it out and it went very well with good fuel consumption, however it went into Autotrader as soon as I could get it in. I could see that as a long term bet it wasn?t up to snuff. But then the Mondeos been even worse.
If you decide to change injectors go to a specialist not to a Fiat garage, you can get a full set of Bosch recons for less than the price of a single standard Fiat injector.

Take the car to your local Bosch Diesel Specialist, accept no imitations.
They will have all the info & know-how to best deal with this.
Or live with it, knowing you are choking the planet ;-)
I followed a well-smoky Focus TDi off the motorway today at 30 (Exeter) so much so I had to select air-recirc!! Darn Fords!
