recognition test.. - P.Mason {P}
I was sorting through old files and foders last week and discovered old negatives from my college days. The link below leads to a pic. of a fellow student's Topolino that we re-built and ran for a year whilst at the Swansea College of Art. The location of the pic. is a bomb site next to the college, -one of the first NCP car parks. Can anyone (TVM?) identify all the cars seen in the background? (One that I'm sure of is my Minivan, just above the offside headlight.)

I'll have a go at them - probably mostly wrong!

minivan, Singer Gazelle,Riley 4/68 (or Wolseley, Morris Oxford etc), Humber Snipe.
Back row, Ford Prefect??Sunbeam Talbot? , Morris/Austin1100, another Singer /Hillman???, Standard 10??, Austin A35, not a clue

How many out of 10?? Probably about 4!

PhilW, I believe the second car in the front row is a Sunbeam Rapier, the one on the far right a Humber Super Snipe (Snipe proper not having been made since the forties). Second car in back row is not Sunbeam Talbot but Morris Oxford, previous body shape but one.The Singer/Hillman is I believe another Morris Oxford, but the same body shape as the current Hindustan (i.e. just pre-Farina). The Standard 10 is actually a Vauxhall Velox/Wyvern I think. There are at least three Morris Minors in the rather bad photo. Sweet little Fiat though isn't it?

Don't know - front end looks a bit Citroen

Rear L to R: Don't know. Possibly a Ford Prefect
Woolsley 680/Morris Isis
Can't see the front end, but either Austin/Morris 1100/1300 of Hillman Imp
