12v Plugin Bluetooth handsfree kits - charlesb
I don't usually make calls from my car, but I'm beginning to see the need, as I keep getting calls whilst I'm driving. This has happened recently as my work role has changed and I'm running a project on short timescales and people need to get hold of me. Now I don't want to break the law, so I need a handsfree kit.

My phone is Bluetooth compatible, and I've used it with Bluetooth headsets, which frankly are useless due to their short battery life. so I'm interested in some of the plug and go systems on the market. I don't want a full installed kit, as I intend to swap it between 2 cars, so the 12V lighter ones are of interest.

Does anyone have any experience of these and can they tell me what's out there in terms of manufacturers and models?

I've just bought the Parrot minikit as recommended by autoexpress: www.autoexpress.co.uk/products/products/204847/han...h

Thus far, I'm impressed - it seems very good.

I've posted before I have a VizorBlade which clips to the sunvisor, has built in Mic & speaker. It's rechargable comes with both mains & car chargers & has something like 10 hours talk time & 900 standby! I nor my cuz who has one has ever had it go flat.
Volume is very good, even can be heard & can hear in the Porsche which is noisy! Around £55 from fleabay or mine was £70 from a T Mobile shop. One here for £50!
