Hey guys
Had a scarey experience this mornin was driving in london and had a mentalist slam on his brakes make us stop and got out and started ranting at us like a loony toon!
As we tried to speed away he gave the car a good kick and made a dent in th rearside passenger wing and one know a good place to get this ixed reasonably don't want o involve the insurnce cmpany as will lose no claims.
I live around th basingstoke area of hamshire

you will have to take your car around a few body shops to get a few quotes they will need to see it, id have got out and give him a kick but it wouldn't have been on the car!!
did you get the reg plate or some of it? report to police? good luck..

Depending on the dent, a dent puller (available from Halfords etc) might be suitable. I once 'repaired' a dent using a sink plunger from B&Qs, but it really depends on the surface area, and the part of the car thats dented! Works best on large dents on the door skins, otherwise just look in your local yellow pages or ask locally.

I recently used Dent Devils and they were quite good.

Dent removal might be possible, but it depends on the make of car, size of dent and location in the panel. I have done many football size dents in front wings (caused by vandals kicking cars) but rear quarter panels are a pain as most are double skinned (some French cars being the exception).
If the profile of the wheel arch has been lost then it's body shop to fill and paint I'm afraid. If the dent is in an open part of the panel (between the arch and the rear light or the arch and the door) then access can be gained by removing the light or the interior trim. It's all down to the size of the dent and it's exact location.
