Hi - one for all you trade types. Its been suggested to me that I might try Forte power steering treatment to overcome the occasional click that I previously reported on my Omega's power steering.
Do any of you have experience of this stuff?

We use Forte treatments extensively with good results. However had you been suffering with noisy or stiff PAS I would have said give it a try but the click suggests something else mechanically amiss. Having said that it could be something simple like a suspension spring binding up whilst turning, or similarly one of the ball joints. Difficult to diagnose without hearing the noise.

If you look at the formula it is only normal oil at an expensive price.

Maybe so for this particular additive but their other stuff (diesel treatment, gas treatment etc) is the biz

It works well in the mind ,if you new what was in it you would realise the big con,fancy bottles big price and gullable people.

I suspect from previous experience that pas treatment is indeed a bit special, but I wish that one of the backroom "boffins" could come up with a homemde formula for petrol fuel system cleaner, which is very likely comprised of cheap and readily obtainable ingredients.
