First thing in the morning car starts immediately on all four but within about 10/15 seconds tickover becomes lumpy and it's start's to smoke badly (grey/white) and smells of unburnt diesel, once it becomes warmer ther is a pinking noise reving from tickover to 2,000/2,500 revs, and continues to smoke horrendous, compression's are all 400. It's as though it's flooding with fuel.?120,000 miles f.s.h.

Many possibles; but my first thought would be a worn injector fault. Find a local garage with the kit to check the fault-codes and live data - particularly the individual injection quantities.

Hi, Thanks for reply, my first thought was injectors, it is a siemens system, but heard so many cases where these have been replaced and it's not cured problem, anyhow i thought i would get them checked out and the diagnosis was 3 not working 1 ok, which is imposible surely if it is running on 3and a bit and over fuelling?
