What year and, if you know it, what engine code? Have you changed the ignition switch or just the loom?

You won't have a feed to the coil/pump unless the engine is cranking or running. Checked the inertia switch?

Hi, thanks for info. Year of car is 1993 and endine #FXOA0023861. Have checked inertia swith, non fitted. The ignition switch was not replaced, just the wiring loom which houses the contacts etc in a plastic barrell.

Cheers; that makes it an NFZ. Got you now; you've changed the ignition switch; but not the ignition lock. As you say; no inertia switch that early. You are right in the bad looms zone though, so wiring checks are the best next step.

Unplug that combination relay and check that wires coded BB12 and BB13 are live all the time and that CC1 and CC2 are live with the ignition on.
