The remote operation of SWMBO Mazda 323F ( 2001) door locks has ceased.
A new keyfob battery does not help. Anything else I can try?

Anything mentioned in the car handbook that informs how to re-sync the fob to the car after a fob battery change?

Nope. Had a look through and says take it to the dealer. I had the battery changed as it had ceased to function.
SWMBO says it locked OK in the evening but would not open the next day.
