When is the new mondeo out? Just checked the car by car breakdown but only says late 2006... Anybody got any ideas?

You'll first see it in the new James Bond film out on Friday. Probably be seen more afterwards but they want to try to keep the wow factor.
From what I've seen it's a pretty good looking car (to me anyway). And the new ST will have a turbo-charged straight six 3.2l engine designed by Volvo. Nice.

Yeh i like the look of it too. Reason i'm asking is because i'm after a Zetec S TDCi current shape, and just wondering if its worth hanging on until the new mdel is out to see how it affects prices.

I don't like the look of the new car. It does nothing diffrent in any way, ford as just merged the vectra and the mazda 6. What I first saw it I thought 'so what?' it is the new Modeo, but it has none of the wow factor that made the last generation focus so stylish.

According to Car Magazine the sheetmetal is the same as the production version (how they know this I'm not sure)
I normally find Fords some of the least attractive cars on the road, though concede that they are usually dynamically superior to the average VW, but this is quite an attractive car...

Apparently the pictures were taken at the Genk plant - you can see the S-Max line in one of the pictures. Some of the tooling is yet to be delivered to the plant so it looks like it'll be next year before production starts properly.
