Help please.I disconnected my battery last week to clean the terminals knowing that I had the code and handbook in the house. I found the code but not the book. What is the method for a cd/radio fitted to an x reg model please?

Usually the buttons for the presets are used,asuming it is waiting for the code when you turn the ign.on,press preset 1 the same number of times as the first digit of the code,preset 2 for the second and so on.When finished there should be something like 'select'(maybe the one for changing from vol.to bass,treble etc.)to activate.

Thank you Sierraman. Silly me-I got in the car this morning after the wife had had it all week and as soon as I tuned the radio on it was waiting for the code. I typed it in and it worked straight away. I must have been confusing this car with a previous car when I had press 2 knobs at once before I entered the code and then pressed the same two again. Thanks anyway-I can now listen to Rodger Chapman again. Regards

I have an X-reg 306 HDi. Speaking from distant memory, I think all you have to do is to enter the code using the preset buttons, which are 1 - 6. My own code uses only lower numbers and I assume no code includes a digit higher than 6. I'm pretty certain that once the battery is re-connected and you switch on the radio, it will be obvious what you have to do. Best of luck!
