It is in top notch condition but how I rid myself of this thing? Please don't say autotrader, one day the world will wake up to this rag and stop ringing it up to place ads for £30 plus - thirty quid! no wonder their HQ looks like a barratt version of trump tower

Spencer,
At the right price you will sell from the Autotrader, after all folks buy it to find a car.
But what about you local Freeads paper? Just helped a customer sell a slightly doggy Espace petrol for £2800 through our Freeads. Dealers had offered around £2000 and threatened it could go as low as £1500 against a slightly cheaper vehicle (£9K as opposed to £11.5K).

Autotrader website ads are much cheaper.
Seem to work - when I bought via an ad there a while back, I got plenty of 'sorry - solds' when I was caling.

Again I have to agree with Alvin. Loot seems to work. I think it is because they have different papers for local areas.
Just sold a Nissan Maxima auto with worn out "clutch" on 3rd gear through Loot on 1st go for £350. Mind you it does 80 in 2nd at redline and with oversize tyres would make a useful city car with aircon etc come the summer (hope). Alternatelively spares. Nissan main dealers are a complete rip off.

Sorry forgot to say, the GTV is now a classic. Try Alfa clubs. Don't sell it for nothing. Friend of mine races them and restores them. Andrew Thorogood. Will be at Goodwood this autumn. Will buy the engine at least if the rest is rusty. 02077208616.

You do not say how old the gtv is it could be anything from new to 40 years old
