Apart from the fact that the reliant Robin is not worth any effort it has always niggled me to hear them being called Robin Reliants!

Coupé. See the accent? That means it's "coopay". Not Coop. Chickens live in a coop.
Americans always say it. It annoys me.
|
How did you manage the accent stevied? I try in the normal way but it doesn't come out in these boxes. I suppose one could cut and copy from a Word document, but frankly I'd rather leave them out as I do in emails...

ALT 130!
I have a list somewhere that tells me all of them!
|
Didn't the name change when Reliant sold the company-late 80's-early 90's.
|
For some reason a number of cars have always had their names back to front. As mentioned, E-type Jag is the other good example. There have been others, such as Series 1 LandRover, and Phase 1 Vanguard. The latter is interesting because the maker's name, Standard, hardly even gets a mention.

good rover?
oh sorry thats an oxymoron
well you know what i mean

Rubbish car whatever way you look at it.

Reliant Robin or Robin Reliant? Rubbish car whatever way you look at it.
Yeah???
Come outside and say that, if you think you're hard enough!
