check out the DVLA website, e mail them via the online link ( see one for drivers one for vehicles)
ask them the question & you will get a horses mouth reply ( use a hotmail address if your worried about being identified)

From memory "Officially" if you suffer any condition that prevents you from driving for more than 3 months eg a broken leg ? you are supposed to notify the DVLA.
I think your GP may be able to advise you on this.

my brother had bad head injury last november ,handed his license back as docs orders but now has car back 3 months after treatment stopped but not his hgv ,dont know if it will be returned although all back now to normal

You must not only inform the DVLA buit also your insurance company-I had to go into all this not because of brain injury but diabetes.
