Girlfriend has just traded my Rover 75 in for a 53plate MINI Cooper as I am getting an A4 soon.
Was really pleased that I got the same trade in as I bought the car for 2 years ago, especially as it has starting issues that has been put down to fuel pump and ECU!!!
Anyway is there anything specific I should be keeping an eye out for in terms of problems and what is the best way to ensure it lasts for quite some time. Currently done 44K and BMW are looking after the servicing free until either 2011 or 80,000 miles.
Must admit I have never been impressed with them, however after 5 minutes of driving one I think I wanted her to get it more than she did. Its BRG with white roof and stripes and looks pretty good - got a few plans for it, spot lights, roof decal etc!!

A few pointers to look at in HJ's car by car breakdown in the left menu <<<<<<

We've owned ours for 5 years (aka SWMBO has owned hers for 5 years if I was more honest) not a Cooper, been a cracking car, she won't be parted from it at the moment.
