Peugeot 307 knocking - trumpy
Hello,
I have a knocking on a peugeot 307 hdi its a 52 plate.
it seems to be coming from the front end but this could be decieving, as when you sit on the drivers side it sounds like it is that side. but also when you sit on the passenger side it sounds that side too.
You can only hear it when you go over bumps, which leads me to think it might be suspension related. i have checked what i can think of but to no avail.
Any tips or pointers would be gratefully received.

anti roll bar,suspension broken spring? top mountings worn? have you had it into a garage for a free check?? worth trying if your unable to pin point it yourself, you can always shop around for the best price on your repair, good luck.

Have you kerbed it or gone high speed over some humps and bumps?

checked the top mountings and they look ok, so does the anti roll bar bushes, and no sign of a broken spring.
where would be the best place to go for a free check up?
