Any Xc90 owners on the forum. Can you give me some of the pros and cons of owning this car. I have been looking for one for weeks now, there is a lot of rubbish out there for big money. Allmost all of the best cars are at main dealers who are charging top book for each car. Yuor thoughts would be most wellcome.

I've had one for a couple of years now, bought from new.

No complaints whatsoever over 36k miles; very spacious, comfortable and adaptable cars, ideal for us as we have three kids and often need to carry more than five. The build quality has been generally very good; one or two bits of plastic floor trim near the seats have come adrift having been kicked off by kids, but replaced easily.

We've been through a set of tyres, changed at the 20k mark, which is something I'll be keeping an eye on. Fuel consumtion isn't too bad for a heavy car, averaging about 35mpg on a steady motorway run at 60-70 mph. We go to France fairly regularly, and think nothing of a 12 hr journey in one hit. Being able to separate the children is a bonus, and there's still plenty of luggage space, especially with a top box. Very nice to drive, as well.

Really can't think of any cons; we're very happy with it.
