Having been absent from the back room for some time.....What is the current protocol on advertising freebies. (i.e items to give away to a good "petrolhead" home)

Or better still go for it and stick it up so us 2nd division car enthusiasts get a look in.

Martyn passed comment on this recently, and I can't find his note.

However, if I recall correctly, he said that adverts for sale were usually a no-no, especially without checking with him first, but that things "free to a good home" were fine within reason.

I'd take that to mean that if it is a genuine freebie that you simply want shot of, which might help someone else, then he will have no objection.

However, I wouldn't be putting in For SAle ads, or anything with strings or implications attached.
