My car manual states that the engine can run on up to 10% ethanol, or 5% methanol. Does anybody know where this sort of fuel is available in the UK (particularly the E10 ethanol mix)? I read somewhere that Tesco sells this, but their website doesn't say where. Has anyone seen it on sale around Berkshire / Surrey?
Many thanks

According to
www.est.org.uk/fleet/Vehicles/Alternativefuels/Alt.../
there are only 10 outlets in the UK.
So good luck.

BogStandard: "I read somewhere that Tesco sells this [ethanol/petrol blend]"
It was discussed here in the BackRoom some time ago. Greenergy supply a 99 octane petrol to some Tesco outlets that contains up to 5% bioethanol. There's a list of sites selling it on Greenergy's website (www.greenergy.com/products/99_octane.html ) with outlets listed for both Berkshire and Surrey.
I'm not aware of any other blends on sale in the UK at present.
