The Radio in my 1997 A4 will not release using correct release keys, one side pops out fine but the other side wont budge any ideas of how to get the radio out ?

May sound daft but are you using the right removal keys? Assuming you are they can sometimes be very awkward to remove. I find that using varying degrees of pressure in different angles can release the latches. Also it is easy to press the key in too far which hinders the release. Try sliding them in gently until you feel some resistance and then try waggling the radio from side to side. I have found that sometimes both sides release but one side jams if you don't pull it out square. Failing that the only other option is to access the sides from another area, maybe there is a small storage box that is removable above or below? Hope this helps.
