Hi
My Honda dealer says that the Jazz is built in Japan. He also says that the Jazz engine cam shaft has a belt drive.
Is this correct?

H.J has taken the trouble to collate an excellent summary of engines running on chain driven cams in F.A.Q`s, where you will see that the Jazz is definitely chain cam :-

The VIN number will tell you: the first two letters give the place of build and manufacturer. Our Jazz has JH. For Chinese assembly, it would read Lx: for more info home.planet.nl/~fransang/vinsystem.html
