The wheels look pretty smart in a "different" sort of way sans the trims.

remnids me of the old 1987 sierra GLSi wheel, which had the cutouts of the hubcap exactly matching the large holes in the steel wheel.

And lets not forget the plastic cable ties that people will use to stop them falling off... they'll be a dead giveaway.

And their was me thinking you were talking about the unqiue body restyling... the dents.

I saw a small coach the other day, the sort that looks like a scaled down big coach. It had what looked like six-stud alloys similar to the bigger 10-stud flat alloy wheels sometimes fitted to coaches and lorries. However, closer inspection showed they were realistic wheel trims, dished outwards at the front and inwards at the back.
Alloys on lorries were originally intended to cut unladen weight - with 12 or more wheels the saved weight means extra payload within the maximum permissible weight.

"And lets not forget the plastic cable ties that people will use to stop them falling off... they'll be a dead giveaway."
According to the info, the trims are held on by the wheel bolts, so no cable ties required.
