Daihatsu Grand Move 1600 - Pete
Semi invalid sister has bee-in-the-bonnet about an S reg five speed example of the above, seen in a local (questionable) dealership.
Can any owner, ex owner or person knowlegable about this type, please offer any advise as to problems, things to look for, regular failure items, advantages, disadvantages etc, etc. Any input would be much appreciated.

I saw loads of these go at auction (mostly metallic pinky red) at Bridgewater not long ago. They went for 3-4 grand. My overwhelming impression was, if you like that sort of thing, you can't go far wrong with them.

Yes I saw them too.
This otherwise rather horrid little vehicle,is cheap,reliable,and practical.
If a car has the same utility appeal to your sister as a fridge,then I dont see she can go far wrong.
Any known problems,HJ?
