Damzel OUT of distress - Gayle Murray
Thank you to everyone who helped me find a car, Stu, your help was greatly appreciated.

I am now the proud owner of a Peugeot 405, H reg (1990), 96,000 miles, re-con engine, new battrey, 5 new tyres, cenral locking.

Thanks again everyone.

PS I am not even getting involved in that stupid debate as to whether LAS knows the owner of the other car!!!!! Who cares?!

I wanted to ask Gayle about the bottom line but decided against it because there would then be the temptation to argue as to the deal she got.

Once you've done the deed the price is best put behind you.

OK, seems I missed off some information. I paid £500 for the car that has the MoT until Spetember and the tax until March. I really don't want to know if it was too much, it is done now!!!

You're fine at £500, £1000 would have made me twitch but I wouldn't have said!

Remember you'll find a fair group of those that know the 405 here if you have problems in the future.
