Sorry if this is a stupid question but, I'm looking at buying a Vauxhall Meriva easytronic, if my daughter were to take her driving test in this car, would it be classed as a auto or a manual.

It's not a really stupid question. It was discussed recently (try the forum search) and the answer boiled down to

Clutch pedal = manual
No clutch pedal = automatic
