This morning on the way to the newsagent: an immaculate black Alfa GTV6 with woodrimmed steering wheel, parked at a pay-and-display in Ladbroke Grove... something to do with Lombarda perhaps?

Not many of those about these days.

My office is behind the Bristol University Student Union and you get a right mixed bag.

Today's double take was a Volvo 960 pick up in gold. That's right, a pick up. Absolutely immaculate with a gleaming chrome load bay.

Last few weeks' sightings include

Alfa Romeo SZ - i think that's right. A wedgey red plastic thing
Nissan Figaro as on this forum recently
Fiat 131. No rust, on a A plate
Opel Ascona on a S plate, again really good condition

I was heading southbound on the A1 a couple of weeks ago somewhere around South Yorkshire, driving in the outside lane. I saw coming towards me on the hard shoulder of the northbound carriageway at a pretty high speed what I thought was a police van. As it passed me though I saw that on the side it said 'bomb disposal' - a pretty unusual sighting I think, and presumably a fairly serious incident given the speed it was going at. Made me glad I was heading the other way!

They must be breeding - there's another up my road in Leics!

We are lucky enough to regularly see an Aston Martin DB2 in my local village in South Cornwall, that is still being used as the owner`s sole mode of transport.

The engine note on this old car (circa 1950) is absolutely sublime, and the car is generally still in excellent condition.

Makes a pleasant contrast to the modern clones which all look very much alike with no individuality whatsoever.!!!!!

the nuclear warheads on way from berkshire to sub base in scotland and back, easily spotted if you know what you are looking for, lightning conductor on roof, convoy of special forces in rangerovers and police outriders etc

and ive seen one broken down on the m25, which capital radio announced as what it was when it first happened, but quickly changed their output to cover up what was going on i assume after the powers that be put pressure on them

Woah steady on. You're implying they're common now!

Are we talking about the nice gold or the horrible (yellow) gold?
Very Unusual Sightings - mfarrow
No Adam, the nice gold :-)

Owning a 17 year old silver Escort at least makes my car rare :-P
