Don't know whether it's me or not, but did the paint finish on the Hyundai Coupe look like orange peel?

Warts?
maybe that's where Tomo gets the inspiration to call his car "Toad"?

Dunno, Andy - but I can't get excited about these sorts of cars. As far as I can see it's got two seats, like my 8 year old van, and performance that you can't use (legally). Also, I bet you couldn't park it without worrying - as I can (relatively) with the van.
Now, the old Merc coupe - that looked a different kettle of fish. Subject to the same restrictions as the Hyundai - but I bet it gives a lot more satisfaction.

I agree there was an appearance of orange peel in one shot of the Hyundai, but I liked it.
As to enjoying it legally, that has been impossible in any car for years and years. But we manage now and again despite the venomous anti-motoring measures!

I noticed that the paint hadnt been flatteded properly also. But thought it looked really good..............well for a Hyundai anyway.

I wasn't aware there was a V8. The only two I can find are the 2-litre 4-cyl and the 2.7-litre V6. Where did you get the info from?
