Help !, i have an omega 2.2 dti 2001 (new shape), problem is i travel for about 10-15 miles, then stop with engine still running, the temp gauge will get higher and higher, i cant hear the fan kicking in, but when i start travelling again the temp gauge goes down to normal. When the cars temp is to high, steam seems to come out from the back of the engine, could it be the thermostat or maybe probs with the fan, any ideas ??

Rad fan switch perhaps? Whatever, get it to a garage ASAP!!
