BPC - alex
Why does HJ call the BBC the BPC, clearly I am missing something?

Should the back room not have a glossary, Ladas are slow, Martyn, BPC and others keep on croping up.

Re: BPC - Andy
BBC = Blair's Broadcasting Corporation

BPC = Blair's Propaganda Corporation

Based on the fact that you will rarely hear any PRO-motoring comment on the BBC, or indeed any serious critisism of New Labour.
Re: Backroom useage. - Brill
There are two glossaries required for the Backroom.

1. Common Backroom acronyms such as:
SWMBO, IMHO, MBRM, FWIW ..... etc.

2. Common Backroom 'slang(?)' such as:
Bidet, Haircut ..... etc.

Stu.
Re: Backroom useage. - Keith
Can you explain them then please?
Re: Backroom useage. - markymarkn
SWMBO - She Who Must Be Obeyed
IMHO - In My Honest Opinion
MBRM - Martyn, BackRoom Moderator (The referee of the backroom)
FWIW - For What Its Worth
IRC - In Reasonable Condition (although there is IIRC which I think has an alternate meaning)
LOL - Laugh Out Loud
HTH - Hope That Helps

erm, 'HTH',

You will learn about the people that make up the backroom in time.

You'll work out who the village idiot is in no time at all...

Mark.
Re: Backroom useage. - Honest John
BPC = Broadcasting Politically Correct, but I like Blair's Propeganda Cronies. Thanks, Andy.

Re: Backroom useage. - Flat in Fifth
If I recall correctly IIRC is If I Recall Correctly.

Bit of an echo in here

Of course, YMMV!

(answers on a postcard)
(and yes, it *is* to do with motoring -- just!)
Re: Backroom useage. - Tomo
Yamaha Makes Maximum Velocity.

(Does it, bikers PLEASE debate, for a bit of relief.)
