I have re-located to France and have taken my caravan with me.
This caravan was manufactured in France, exported to UK and is now back in France.
The problem is I now have to register it and its a nightmare, therefore is there anyone out there who has had this problem and could they pass on to me any helpful info.

Try the motoring forums on Expatica.com or French News first - there are other forums if you do a google search.
I think you are going to need all the help you can get. A friend of mine gave up on trying to register his English caravan and took it back to the UK to sell before buying French. There is all sorts of grief with things like homologation for the gas cooker fittings, etc.
Good luck!

My folks gave up too when they moved out to France last year. The main problem IIRC is that the door is on the wrong side. Sell it in the UK and buy one out there - there´s still a big market on the Continent for caravans.

It can be done, even for a UK-built caravan, but you will need the co-operation of the manufacturer to provide additional details, wherever it was built.
Check out Caravan Talk 2 forum and do a search, I don't have a link I'm afraid.
