anyone dealt with the above trader based in France? I want to buy a ?22000 car from them and they want ?3000 as a deposit, which is fair enough. Can anyone reassure me they're OK or suggest how I might protect my deposit in case they don't deliver or tunr out to be bogus? Paying by credit card is the obvious choice but the dealer doesn't accept them, saying the costs for a French business are prohibitive. I've been asked to pay the balance on delivery of the car, but again, how can I be sure the dealer had legal title to sell? Any thoughts/tips very welcome. Thanks

P.S. In case you're wondering, it's a French car for use in France, where I'm moving later this year.

if you are concerned, and it sounds like you are on several different levels it would probably be best to leave them and when you get to France buy from your local dealer, the same as you would in the UK.
