The airbag warning light on my recently acquired 3 year old Prodder Kelisa auto has started to come on at odd times.
Does any one know of a recall about airbags on these cars or can advise what may be going on?
Thanks

Has it got seat belt pretensioners? If so, this is the most common reason for airbag related faults.
Check under the seat to make sure the wires haven't become dislodged.

Have looked under both front seats-no wires or "black box" obvious.Don't know if it has pre-tensioners.
Any tension arises from not knowing when this light is going to come on!!
HJ's description of the Kenari reported a recall to replace metering units for the airbags on a batch of cars.
I wondered if the Kelisa (basically the same car) may be similarly affected.

Not the same car.
both based on different models.
go to a daihatsu dealer - might be able to help.

Took it to the Perodua dealer in the end.
Turned out to be a broken clock spring behind the steering wheel. This cost £133 Ouch!Total £270.I got the car v. cheap and it is still cheap in spite of this unexpected cost. The part is g'teed for 1year.
Thanks for advice.
