Is anyone having trouble engaging reverse gear on a 5 speed mazda 6. Mine is on its 3rd clutch and it still isnt right.

I had similar problems with a Mazda (not a 6), reverse was almost impossible - dealer first changed the gearbox oil for lower viscosity - this made no difference
Eventually replaced 1st, 2nd & reverse in gearbox re-build and bingo problem solved - this was under warranty fortunately

While we're on Mazda 6s, a lot of people (including Backroomers) have said that the petrol version is noisy at motorway speeds.
Anyone know if the diesel is any better?
